Role Description
Maydencroft is looking for an Assistant Arboricultural Consultant to primarily support the delivery of tree safety inspections across a portfolio of utility sites in the Thames Valley region.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong arboricultural background who is looking to develop their consultancy career. The role is primarily field-based, with occasional attendance at our regional offices, and would suit someone moving from practical arboriculture, tree surveying or a junior consultancy role.
Applicants should either already hold the Lantra Professional Tree Inspection (PTI) qualification or be willing to complete
the course and qualification within the first six months of employment. Where required, Maydencroft will provide funding, guidance and support through this process.
The workplace
The position will largely be remote, with occasional working from our offices at Pigeon House Farm, Dorney, Windsor, SL4 6QB, and One Garden City, Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire, SG6 3BF.
Salary
Starting salary of between £29,000 and £32,000 per annum, dependent upon candidate experience. There is potential for a salary review following successful completion of probation and/or the Lantra Professional Tree Inspection qualification.
Permanent (subject to successful completion of a six-month probation period)
Working hours
Standard working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible start and finish times available by agreement.
