A German subsidiary of a world leading provider that specializes in projects of\\nelectro-mechanical installations in construction projects (buildings, factories\\netc.). It plans to expand its activities in Germany and to offer services in a broad\\nrange of electrical and mechanical installations and maintenance in the building\\nindustry such as air conditioning, heating & cooling, industrial installation, and\\nfire protection systems. The German subsidiary is a great platform to expand\\nthe business into the German market on a broader scale.\\nOverall responsibility for the company’s activities in the German market\\nincluding full P&L accountability for all German-based accounts.\\nKey Responsibilities Draw a new business plan for the German market while taking into account steady growth in the mechanical space and expanding the German business into electrical installation.\\nEstablish new branches of the German subsidiary alongside business expansion and win more bids with existing and new clients and vendors.\\nBuild a solid company reputation in the German market and expand its network.\\nRecruit new staff as the company grows while ensuring training and specialization as necessary.\\nMaintain the yearly budget on a quarterly basis with full accountability for cost effectiveness and regular reporting to headquarters.\\nEnsure client satisfaction at the highest level of safety.\\nAct as the main contact point for the foreign headquarters and regularly inform headquarters of all relevant market trends and developments.\\nKey Data for the Position Reports to the foreign headquarters (head of respective business unit within the group).\\nLocation: remains flexible.\\nTravelling: the job requires extensive travel across Germany.\\nProfessional Requirements Proven managerial experience in a contracting company with full P&L accountability for a branch, region, or other business structured as an independent business unit (responsibility for a business size of at least 20 – 30 Million Euro).\\nVery solid knowledge of the electro-mechanical space.\\nFamiliarity with the local German construction market, a good network, and existing relationships among developers, architects, planners, investors, and other potential clients.\\nA track record of success in contracting projects in the electro-mechanical space with strong operational capabilities and excellent proven project management skills.\\nGraduation in engineering (electrical and/or mechanical) with an overall 10 years of professional experience.\\nFluency in German and English is a must.\\nPersonal Requirements Strong managerial capabilities with emphasis on leadership and motivating employees, very good communication skills, openness, and creativity.\\nMature, able to handle frustration and personal stress, committed, and takes responsibility for own mistakes.\\nConfident and trusted, articulate, can solidly handle objections and conflicts.\\nStrong ability to train, teach, coach, and nurture employees.\\nTask-oriented, dynamic, efficient, and possess strong business acumen.\\nCan operate efficiently under stressful conditions, work independently, and make decisions without close guidance and supervision from others.\\nEntrepreneurial, initiates own ideas and solutions to solve problems and improve processes.\\nHands-on and task-oriented (no management “from behind”).\\n\\n#J-18808-Ljbffr
