Our client is a leading provider of Telecom analytics solutions. Their teams, and the products and solutions they deliver, help their customers, which include the vast majority of Mobile Telecoms Service providers globally, to increase revenue, improve customer experience, and reduce costs using their extensive portfolio.

They have a substantial number of existing Telco Service Provider clients in the region so the role involves cross-selling. Ideally, they would also like someone with experience of dealing with Vodafone Group (VPC) but this is not a must-have. They also have a major office location although this role can be based from home in the region.

In this position, you will be accountable for sales targets within the assigned region and accounts. This position is responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, with an emphasis on prospecting and regional growth.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement strategic plans to reach sales targets; Meet or exceed defined sales targets.
  2. Lead full sales cycle from prospecting, articulating value proposition, conducting sales meetings, demoing products, and closing sales.
  3. Work with customers to better understand their business needs and goals; provide prospects with solutions that will help them achieve their business objectives.
  4. Cultivate lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty.
  5. Draft detailed and accurate sales reports.
  6. Assess costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify selling prices.
  7. Estimate sales volume and profit for current and new products.

Requirements:

  1. Relationship with major CSPs in Germany (1&1, O2 / Telefonica group, DT, and Vodafone).
  2. In-depth knowledge and experience of selling software solutions to service providers (any of OSS, BSS, Network Testing, Service Assurance, Security, Roaming etc).
  3. Experience presenting to and closing deals to C-Suite executives.
  4. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to forecast sales and manage sales pipeline.
  5. Fluent in German and English.
  6. Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines.
  7. Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
  8. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  9. Degree in marketing, business administration or a relevant technical field.
  10. A minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar role.
