Job Overview:The Completions Coordinator (Onshore Landstation) uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external issues to improve the Completions (OnsCon) discipline within McDermott. They will act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and share their conceptual and practical expertise related to the Completions (OnsCon) discipline. The Senior Completions Spec (OnsCon) solves complex problems and uses discipline-specific knowledge to improve their products or services. The Senior Completions Spec (OnsCon) impacts a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities with the Completions (OnsCon) team and other related teams and ensures they work within the appropriate guidelines and policies.

Essential Qualifications and Education:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering or related field5 to 7 years' experience in completions management for onshore construction projects in the EPCI industryPreferably a degree Engineering or Information Technology but not essentialMust have a minimal of 5 years’ experience on EPC projects as a Completions Specialist / Coordinator / AdministratorMust have experience in the Oil & Gas Industry or Power industry in a Completions positionExperience with PIMS completions system is desirable but other Completions Management System will be consideredUnderstanding of key Engineering drawings such as P&ID’s, SLD’s, I&C architecture, telecom block diagrams, unit plot plans, etcDemonstrates a broad technical knowledge of construction and commissioning activitiesMust have a thorough understanding of the handover, walk down and punch listing processesMust have a thorough understanding of compiling system / handover packagesMust have a good understanding of preservation and maintenance activitiesAble to effectively communicate technical solutions and concepts to engineers and non-engineersMust have excellent computer software skills in MS Office suite as a minimumKnowledge of Power BI reports would be usefulMust have good Presentation skills for meetings with Construction and ClientMust have good organizational skills and be adaptable to the needs of various discipline groupsMust have the ability to assess and communicate project requirements and expectations in a clearly defined, positive and productive manner#LI-OO1Key Tasks and Responsibilities:Work collaboratively within the Project team and with Client to maintain positive relationshipsReports to the Commissioning Lead / Site Manager and responsible for coordinating the development of system packages and handover documentationTo ensure system data integrity in the Project’s selected Completions Management System (PIMS) in accordance with the Completions PlanUnderstanding of key Engineering drawings for systemization and completion activities is essentialCandidate will have strong analytical and attention to detail with experience in data manipulationKnowledge of the PIMS completions system would be desirableAt Site, the Completions Coordinator is responsible for coordination of walk downs and punch list activities for Mechanical Completion, Ready for Commissioning, Ready for Start-Up activities during the EPC project execution in accordance with the approved Completions Plan and/or procedure(s)The project is in the HVDC Market and with Site at Büttel, GermanyProficient in English and conversant in German would be a plusUnderstand and implement the Completions Plan for the projectPerforms coordination of completion activities between Quality, Construction, Commissioning and Client personnel as necessary and monitor the field activities in an orderly manner according to commissioning prioritiesMake sure all Construction, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning Completion Check Sheets are completed and signed off in the PIMS completions systemMakes sure all punch items and preservation activities are completed and signed off in the PIMS completions systemCo-ordinate the preparation and upkeep of the Master Punch Lists and Exception Lists for each packageCompilation of system packages electronically or hard copied in accordance with contractual obligationsSet up and population of progress reports for issue to defined distributionInterface with the Sub-contractors on site for all completion activitiesReview interfaces with Vendors and Third PartiesAssist the Site QA/QC group in compiling project final handover documentation for submission to ClientFull timePosting Date:
