Marketing Content Specialist
Role purpose
Manage the day-to-day delivery of email marketing and website content for our exhibitions and events. Ensure content is delivered on time, is on brand, and supports visitor and exhibitor engagement.
Key responsibilities
Email marketing
- Create, test, and send email campaigns and newsletters for visitors, exhibitors, and media.
- Coordinate content for email marketing campaigns and improve messaging where needed.
- Manage audiences, mailing lists, schedules, and A/B testing.
- Coordinate with marketing, content, and event teams on campaign content and timing.
- Monitor email results and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Execute direct messaging through event platforms such as Swapcard.
Website content
- Publish and update website content in the CMS, including landing pages, programmes, exhibitor and speaker listings, and news.
- Coordinate website content updates with internal teams.
- Ensure content is accurate, consistent, on brand, and SEO-friendly.
- Manage content calendars and keep websites up to date throughout the event cycle.
Also involved in
- Preparing images, links, and UTM tags, and completing basic content checks.
- Supporting marketing automation and campaign tracking.
- Improving email marketing and website content processes.
Profile
- 2–3 years’ experience in email marketing and/or website content management.
- Experience with Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud is highly desirable, particularly email marketing and campaign execution.
- Experience coordinating and improving content for email and websites.
- Experience with a CMS and basic HTML.
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
- Comfortable working with email performance data and GA4.
- Collaborative and comfortable working across teams.
- German and English essential; French a plus
