Who You\’ll Work With
You will be based in one of our European offices as part of our Operations Practice. The Operations Practice assists clients in solving complex operational challenges by developing and implementing strategies that improve their operations. McKinsey’s Product Development service line focuses on helping clients develop market-fitting products, optimize margins, and enhance brand reputation for growth. As a Consultant, you will work on defining and executing strategies to improve innovation and business performance, contributing to challenging client problems, and gaining professional growth through training and mentorship.

Your Impact
You will identify issues, form hypotheses, conduct analyses, and synthesize conclusions into recommendations. You will design new product development processes based on lean R&D principles and collaborate with clients to implement these changes. You will also develop new skills through ongoing training, coaching, and mentoring.

Your Qualifications and Skills

• Master’s degree and exceptional academic record
• Broad experience in product development (e.g., optimization, R&D projects, supplier management)
• Proven leadership in work or extracurricular activities
• Willingness to work on European assignments during the work week
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills in English and local languages
