ABOUT THE ROLE

You will lead our electrical engineering team responsible for the aircraft's electric propulsion system – electric machines, inverters, motor control, HV distribution and thermal management. Reporting directly to the Responsible Authority Electric Powertrain, you combine deep technical expertise with hands-on leadership.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead and develop the Electric Powertrain Engineering Team
• Own electric powertrain work packages in line with requirements, safety objectives and EASA CS-23 / Part 21J
• Drive technical excellence in motors, power electronics, HV distribution and propulsion integration
• Manage technical interfaces with Tier-1 suppliers
• Support system safety activities (FHA, PSSA, SSA, FMEA/FMECA) and lead design reviews
• Ensure configuration management, change control and traceability

WHAT YOU BRING

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Mechatronics or similar
• 7+ years in electric powertrain, propulsion or high-voltage systems (aerospace, automotive or industrial)
• Proven leadership experience in a safety-critical environment
• Strong expertise in electric machines, inverters, HV distribution and system integration
• Familiarity with EASA/FAA certification, ideally Part 21J
• Structured way of working – requirements, configuration control, traceability – and excellent communication skills
