Join our expert team as an HSE & Quality Assurance Specialist, driving safety and quality across critical defence projects in Germany.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain an intermediate working knowledge of Company-specific HSE standards, programs, goals and proceduresthrough required training and practical application on project sites or in office environments.
  • Ensure project sites comply with Company and applicable regulatory HSE standards and guidelines.
  • Promote and embed HSE values, standards and goals through Company- and project-level programs to support a safe and productive work environment.
  • Conduct surveys, audits, evaluations, inspections and investigations of incidents and activities of moderate scope.
  • Collect, document and track project environmental and HSE data to monitor performance against standards and targets.
  • Adhere to and actively support the Company's Health, Safety, Environmental, and Sustainability policies.
  • Gather and apply industry-wide HSE information and data to continuously improve HSE programs and procedures.
  • Occasionally lead and mentor lower-level HSE personnel.
  • Review and rapidly become familiar with project technical requirements, including prime contracts, program Quality Control Plans, applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Implement the project quality program and perform inspections and surveillance activities as required.
  • Oversee subcontracted vendors to ensure compliance with Company quality standards.
  • Identify quality non-conformances and verify that effective corrective actions are implemented.
  • Conduct and participate in joint inspections, audits, and quality-related reviews with client representatives and regulatory bodies.
  • Interface with client representatives regarding quality issues, government audit findings and corrective action plans.
  • Attend weekly contractor meetings to review quality performance and address issues.
  • Ensure project quality records are completed, signed, compiled, and maintained to support project turnover and record retention requirements.
  • Interpret multi-discipline quality requirements and provide technical guidance for quality assurance, surveillance, and risk management activities.
  • Proactively engage with site, functional, and senior management to identify concerns, resolve technical, procedural, and contractual issues, and communicate opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and submit quality performance data and reports to the Company's Quality Assurance department no less than monthly.
  • Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Current possession of, or ability to obtain, a Serv Safe Food Protection Manager certificate.
  • Possession of an OSHA 30-Hour Certification or a global equivalent.
  • Accredited four-year degree (or global equivalent) in a related field and at least two years of relevant experience; or a combination of education and directly related experience totalling six years for non-degreed candidates.
  • A minimum of five years of Quality Assurance / Quality Control experience.
  • Prior experience working on U. S. Government contracts.
  • Some locations may require additional qualifications to meet local regulatory requirements.
