Master Thesis on Antiviral siRNA Therapy
Starting autumn/winter 2023 (22.09.2023 - 15.11.2023)
We are seeking a motivated Master's student with a life science background to join our research group at the LMU clinic. We have developed an RNA interference-based antiviral therapy that targets and destroys the genome of SARS-CoV2 (NAR 2022; https://doi.org/10.1093/nar/gkab1248). Your project will focus on further improving this therapeutic approach and expanding its effectiveness to the entire Orthocoronavirinae subfamily, making it crucial for pandemic preparedness.
