In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the global medical strategy for the designated therapeutic focus areas Rheumatology, Urology, Oncology and Supportive Therapies. You will lead a team of scientific-medical professionals, drive cross-functional collaboration, and ensure the integration of medical insights into product strategies to support the overall business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and further develop the Global Medical Affairs department in alignment with business unit goalsDefine, implement, and oversee the medical strategy for assigned focus areas and integrate medical strategies into broader product strategies to ensure alignment across functionsServe as primary medical representative and point of contact for all scientific and medical inquiriesManage and prioritize departmental activities and resources, including financial and human capitalBuild and maintain a robust network of global Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)Develop and implement stakeholder-oriented training conceptsYour ProfileAdvanced degree in medicine, pharmacy, or life sciences (MD, PhD, PharmD preferred) doctorate (PhD or MD) is of advantageProven experience in medical affairs leadership roles, ideally in a global settingStrong strategic mindset with the ability to translate complex medical insights into actionable strategiesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage departmental budgetsWe offer: Your work-life balance is important to us.
