Legal Specialist

The Legal Specialist will work in a team focused on supporting Medacta’s legal, privacy & healthcare compliance department by performing administrative duties in the legal and healthcare compliance areas.

The candidate will be responsible for managing the following activities:

• Serve as a strategic function to the business leaders and functional managers on legal and corporate governance aspects;
• Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts and legal documents;
• Coordinate the implementation and execution of policies and procedures in the legal area;
• Support internal and external functions in applying healthcare compliance guidelines (e.g. Medtech Europe code of ethics) and regulations (e.g. local transparency laws);
• Proactively monitor and understand the evolution of legal, privacy and healthcare compliance requirements and enforcement landscape in the countries in which Medacta is operating, to pre-emptively address any necessary actions to be taken;
• Support the management of privacy tasks.

Hard Skills:

• Degree in law;
• Comprehensive knowledge of the legal industry;
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a legal department;
• Excellent knowledge of English;
• Good knowledge of the main computer packages (MS Office, etc.).

Soft Skills:

• Method, accuracy, collaboration, and proactivity;
• Excellent relational skills;
• Able to identify and respond to complex problems and find solutions;
• Strong focus on achieving objectives.
