Talent Acquisition and Engagement Officer Location: 8002 Zürich (ZH), Zurich, Switzerland.
Employment start: 10.08.2026. Employment type: Permanent full‑time (100%, 40 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities
Strengthen proximity and engagement with Swiss IMS staff, supporting retention, wellness, and career development.
Champion Swiss talent development and retention by ensuring new recruits complete the Welcome to MSF session and conducting post‑assignment debriefings to capture feedback and identify disengagement signals.
Encourage employees to articulate medium‑ and long‑term career ambitions and collaborate with Pool Managers and the OCG HR department to share opportunities across field and HQ.
Promote MSF Switzerland as an employer through HR marketing activities, storytelling, and community‑engagement initiatives.
Build and maintain a pool of internal ambassadors that embody and transmit MSF values to Swiss society.
Co‑facilitate HR exchange spaces such as operational debriefings, staff days, and casual coffee chats, and produce newsletters or other communications to foster internal dialogue.
Coordinate with HQ HR and the MSF CH board to align Swiss engagement efforts with internal policies.
Support the Field Recruitment unit in weekly meetings, HR department meetings, and backup of the Field Recruitment team assistant.
Travel within Switzerland, including regular visits to Geneva office.
Qualifications
Technical Skills : Minimum 2 years of field experience with MSF in different contexts; strong interpersonal and listening skills; excellent written and verbal communication in German (Swiss German preferred), French, and mandatory English; experience or interest in social media, website presence, internal communications, and event facilitation.
Personal Qualities : Empathy, strong relationship‑building, coaching attitude or skills, initiative, cultural sensitivity, adaptability, discretion, and an understanding of HR confidentiality; skill or interest in communications, storytelling, photography/video.
Terms of Employment
Full‑time position, 100% (40 h per week). Open‑ended contract.
Salary: CHF 87 372‑100 608 per annum (commensurate with experience).
Paid vacation: 25 days per year, prorated, plus Swiss public holidays.
Pension: 3/4 covered by MSF, 1/4 by staff member.
Relocation support available for eligible candidates.
