This is a strategic leadership role balancing robust clinical governance with a deeply compassionate, person-centred approach to recovery. You will hold ultimate accountability for patient care, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance across a modern facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Governance: Provide strategic direction to nursing and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, recovery-focused care.
• Regulatory Compliance: Lead the facility in consistently meeting and exceeding Mental Health Commission (MHC) standards.
• Culture & Development: Oversee recruitment, retention, and continuous professional development (CPD) programmes.
• Quality Assurance: Drive clinical audits, risk management protocols, and continuous service improvements.

Key Requirements

• Registration: Active registration on the Psychiatric Nurses Division of the NMBI is essential.
• Experience: 5+ years of senior nursing management experience (e.g., ADON level) within an acute or specialised mental health setting.
• Knowledge: Deep expertise in the Mental Health Act 2001 and contemporary Irish healthcare policies.
• Qualifications: A post-graduate qualification in Healthcare Management or Clinical Leadership is highly desirable.
