Your tasks Leading the evolution of the enterprise architecture in alignment with the MMS\‘ technology strategy and platform direction, across core domains including Customer, Commerce, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and Data Definition and governance of the enterprise target architecture, including architecture principles, standards, and blueprints enabling a modular, scalable, and future-ready omnichannel retail landscape Leadership and development of the Enterprise Architecture function, including Enterprise Architects, and platform architects, ensuring alignment across markets, value streams, and technology domains Translation of strategic business priorities into capability roadmaps, architectural guardrails, and technology investment guidance Establishment and operation of architecture governance frameworks, decision forums, and review boards, balancing innovation, speed, and architectural integrity Simplification and modernisation of legacy system landscapes, reduction of architectural debt, and enablement of reusable, composable capabilities across countries and channels Strategic partnership with C-level stakeholders, product organisations, engineering leadership, and transformation programmes to embed architecture into delivery and decision-making Oversight of technology portfolio transparency, capability mapping, and dependency management across large-scale transformation initiatives Architectural leadership and oversight of strategic programmes, including ERP, CRM, Commerce Platforms, Data & AI platforms, and Supply Chain systems Embedding of security, resilience, compliance, and data governance by design across the enterprise technology landscape Contribution to vendor strategy, platform selection, and large-scale RFP processes from an enterprise architecture perspective Enablement of data-driven and AI-enabled capabilities through modern platform, integration, and data architecture Development of a strong architecture community and culture, promoting engineering excellence, DevOps principles, and a product-oriented mindset Your profile Extensive experience in enterprise architecture, large-scale system landscapes, or digital platform strategy within retail or similarly complex industries Deep understanding of omnichannel retail capabilities, including e-commerce, store systems, ERP, order management, fulfilment, and customer platforms Proven leadership in building and scaling architecture teams in agile and product-centric environments Strong capability to link business strategy with technology strategy, translating strategic vision into actionable roadmaps and investment decisions Demonstrated experience with modern cloud environments (GCP, Azure, AWS), including infrastructure-as-code and platform engineering approaches Strong knowledge of integration patterns, APIs, event-driven architectures, and microservices-based systems Experience in defining and operating architecture governance frameworks, standards, and principles at enterprise scale Ability to manage complexity, align diverse stakeholders, and drive decision-making in federated, multi‑market organisations Strong analytical and structured thinking, with the ability to communicate complex architectural topics clearly to executive audiences Hands‑on experience with ERP platforms, commerce systems, data platforms, or supply chain applications in large‑scale transformation contexts High level of ownership, resilience, and effectiveness in transformation and change environments What\’s in it for you?
