DC Planner (m/f/d)
How can you help us?
- Consistent and precise planning of inbound containers for the DC(s).
- Providing firm receiving plan to the warehousing team based on the defined parameters.
- Continuous coordination with inbound warehousing team.
- Steering the inbound priority of containers.
- Clear communication/collaboration with internal stakeholders as well as external partners.
- Implementation of relevant SOPs, as well as optimization of the processes.
- Monitoring & validating systems variables.
- Clear prioritization of tasks & responsibilities.
- Escalation to Line Management on critical topics.
Are you our match?
- Minimum 3 years Transportation and/or Shipping & Logistics experience, within a preferably high-volume logistics/warehouse environment.
- Eager to learn and carry out new processes related to planning & warehousing.
- Experience of ERP or warehouse management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate confidently on internal & external basis.
- Team-oriented personality.
- Continuous improvement mindset, problem solver, and ability to multi-task.
- Previous air/rail experience is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Proficient level of English language skills. German & additional languages is a plus.
