A Day in the Life

Being a Finance Business Partner for Western Europe Management you will be providing Business Partnering support and advisory to the Western Europe ICT Cluster Business Leaders, Marketing and Country Business Leaders. You will act as the trusted advisor to the business and support them in defining and executing the business strategy, maximizing top and bottom-line opportunities, delivering on Key Performance Indicators and targets, driving efficiency in operations, adapting new business models where applicable.

In this role you will report to Western Europe Finance Director of ICT being responsible for ~200$M business in Western Europe.

We offer you a position where you will have a close working relationship with the Business & Finance Leadership in the region, Swiss Headquarters and local Country Finance as well as the Centers of Excellence in Heerlen and Prague.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting, explaining and driving business performance
• Finance Business Partnering with cluster business and marketing leaders
• Generating scenario analyses to advise on business planning opportunities & trade-offs
• Planning, Coordinating and Executing FP&A activities
• Supporting and influencing key operational and strategic decisions
• Presenting industry, competitor and economic insights
• Advising on resource allocation within the cluster

Required Knowledge and Experience

• University degree in Finance, Business or Accounting
• 5+ years of professional finance experience in Financial Modelling, Data Analysis, Go to Market Strategies or Investment Management
• In-depth know-how in Financial Planning, Performance Measurement, Financial Governance as well as Sales Incentive and Pricing
• Willingness for business travelling up to 10% of time, covering the region
• Being business acumen - you understand the business model and are 100% business savvy
• Being an advisor, you are an outstanding communicator and have the ability to communicate effectively according to the audience and to influence others to different ways of thinking & gain commitment
• Strategic powers - you see the big picture and think on long-term perspective
• Proactive and action oriented - you show initiative and act with a sense of urgency as well as with diplomacy when required

Nice to Haves

• Masters level or MBA degree an / or having achieved a CPA/ACCA diploma
• Finance, Planning and Analysis (FP&A) experienced in Business Finance
• Work experience from a multinational commercial company or a recognized audit firm
• Experience of working in a multicultural and diverse environment

Pay range / Rango salarial / Intervalo salarial /Fascia retributiva / Tranche de salaire / Gehaltsband / Salaribereik: Germany: 89,360.00 EUR - 134,040.00 EUR | This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
