A Day in the Life

We are searching for a talented Market Development Neurovascular Specialist in Germany to further drive innovation and strengthen sustainable growth through meaningful collaborations. As a Market Development Neurovascular Specialist, you will play a key role in driving therapy awareness and adoption, asset development and execution of market development projects. In this role you will act as a field liaison between health care professionals and internal stakeholders such as medical education, market access, clinical research and an integrated health solutions team. You will be responsible for identifying and driving meaningful partnerships, optimizing patient pathways & workflow as well as implementing and creating best practices with an agile and dynamic mindset. You work collaboratively with the internal marketing & sales organization.

This role covers Germany and is remote. You may be required to attend a Medtronic location for meetings from time to time. A facility-based immunization requirement applies; full Measles immunization is required to fill the open position.

Responsibilities

  • Build and strengthen relationships with designated accounts, health care systems, societies and key opinion leaders.
  • Analyze, research and determine market trends to substantiate long‑term prospects.
  • Understand therapy and individual customer needs/interests to drive programs that are mutually beneficial.
  • Communicate customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including Marketing, R&D and Operations.
  • Develop and disseminate information on a continuous basis to all pertinent parties concerning the fulfillment of project goals and objectives.
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic space, creating and building new strategies with a team.

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare, or equivalent work experience in the field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven successful track record in medical device technology; experience in the neurovascular specialty strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of hospital operations and clinical consulting in an operating theater and/or angiography.
  • Outstanding strategic thinking and business acumen, ability to present complex business cases to senior leadership.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the country of responsibility.
