Job Opening: Senior Process Engineer – Pharmaceutical Commissioning Location: Munich, Germany Type: Full-Time | Permanent Language Requirement: Fluent German (C1+) We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our team in Munich , supporting pharmaceutical plant commissioning and process optimization efforts. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong track record in pharmaceutical manufacturing and GMP-compliant plant commissioning . Your Responsibilities: Lead and execute process design, qualification, and commissioning activities for new and existing production facilities Collaborate cross-functionally with project management, automation, QA, and validation teams Ensure full compliance with GMP and regulatory standards during commissioning and start-up Support technology transfer , troubleshooting, and process optimization initiatives Serve as a subject matter expert during audits and inspections ✅ Your Profile: Degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field Minimum 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or biotech industry Proven experience in plant commissioning/start-up and process qualification Solid knowledge of GMP , EU/FDA regulations, and validation protocols Fluent German and English communication skills (C1 or higher) Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a hands-on mindset
