Job Title: Programme Director
Location: Remote- Germany
Role Overview: The Programme Director (PD) will lead Business Development activities and oversee the successful delivery of projects within the healthcare sector. This role ensures projects meet industry and client compliance standards while driving business growth and operational excellence. The PD is accountable for managing projects from initiation to completion and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and target new and existing client business opportunities to meet revenue and growth targets.
- Create and execute business development plans, including objectives, timelines, and stakeholder management.
- Actively engage with prospective clients to understand their challenges and identify how the company can support their needs.
- Utilize Salesforce for effective account management and track daily updates.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, ensuring they see the impact of projects through high Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
General Business Leadership:
- Oversee project cost control and ensure financial targets are met.
- Ensure smooth transitions of new projects to the operations team while remaining the key client contact throughout the project.
- Lead coaching sessions and conduct annual performance reviews for staff.
- Embed core company values within the project teams and promote business development culture.
Operational Excellence (OPEX):
- Lead the delivery of operational plans to meet or exceed target performance metrics.
- Conduct regular health checks for project setups and live projects.
- Identify cost-efficient recruitment strategies for operational roles, ensuring timely replacements for vacancies.
- Provide coaching and leadership to Business Leaders to ensure operational success.
Experience and Skills:
- Proven leadership experience, preferably with over 4 years of sales management or marketing leadership in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders effectively.
- Fluency in both German and English language.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results.
- Strong interpersonal skills for networking and building relationships with senior pharma professionals.
- Highly organized with a calm, level-headed approach under pressure.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other office software.
