The role covers takes technical responsibility for all welding across the company's sites, supervising to DIN EN ISO 3834 and 14731 and application rules such as DIN 2303. Designs welding quality processes, writes welding instructions and production specifications, is the contact for certification bodies, and leads product and process development projects. Requirements: A degree in mechanical engineering, vehicle construction or materials, with the International Welding Engineer (IIW-IWE) qualification held or imminent. Experience welding metallic materials, ideally high-strength fine-grained structural steels, and preferably non-destructive testing. Good German and English. No application deadline is stated.
