Thanks to our highly motivated team and a down-to-earth and living atmosphere, the MEININGER Hotels feel like a real home.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESCore Duties & Responsibilities:AccountingMonitoring of receivables including dunning process and impairmentsProcessing of invoices in compliance with financial policies and procedures Clarifying inconclusive business transactions in coordination with other departmentsProvide various reporting for stakeholderMonthly Subledger/general ledger reconciliationSupports month-end processes to ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closeIntercompanyProcessing all intercompany related fees and recharges within the GroupReconcile intercompany accountsMiscellaneousCity tax compliance, reporting and paymentsCredit Checks for Sales DepartmentYOUR PROFILEMinimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar roleEducational degree or relevant qualifications in Accounting or degree as Hotel SpecialistMinimum 2 years of experience with SIHOT in a hotel environment (required)Knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures (HGB / IFRS)Knowledge of ERP systems (MS Dynamics D365), advanced MS Excel is advantageousBusiness proficiency in German and English, other languages (Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese) would be advantageousWHAT MEININGER OFFERSThere are many good reasons to join our MEININGER Team.
