Accountant - Accounts Receivable (f/m/d) MEININGER Hotels Berlin Headquarters Full-time
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
- Accounting Monitoring of receivables including dunning process and impairments
- Processing of invoices in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Clarifying inconclusive business transactions in coordination with other departments
- Provide various reporting for stakeholder
- Monthly Subledger/general ledger reconciliation
- Supports month-end processes to ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
- Intercompany Processing all intercompany related fees and recharges within the Group
- Reconcile intercompany accounts
- Miscellaneous City tax compliance, reporting and payments
- Credit Checks for Sales Department
Your Profile:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Educational degree or relevant qualifications in Accounting or degree as Hotel Specialist
- Minimum 2 years of experience with SIHOT in a hotel environment (required)
- Knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures (HGB / IFRS)
- Knowledge of ERP systems (MS Dynamics D365), advanced MS Excel is advantageous
- Business proficiency in German and English, other languages (Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese) would be advantageous
