We are looking for a HOTEL MANAGER for our MELIÁ FRANKFURT HOTEL

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the role is responsible for all operational aspects of the hotel.

Manage and inspire the hotel teams to maintain high service standards, quality, and efficient processes.

Ensure the implementation of Melia Hotels International\’s procedures and policies in alignment with strategic plans.

MAIN FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

  1. Assume responsibilities and decision-making authority for hotel operations.
  2. Support the Director of Operations in designing and implementing projects, strategies, budgets, and action plans.
  3. Analyze the Business Plan with the DO.
  4. Review weekly results for financial accuracy, staffing, and brand standards.
  5. Ensure decisions align with budgets to increase income, control costs, and identify opportunities.
  6. Identify deviations and resolve issues.
  7. Participate in budget development and monitoring.
  8. Assist in forecast meetings and business reviews.
  9. Promote teamwork and communication across departments.
  10. Encourage employee satisfaction and professional development.
  11. Support managers in setting and monitoring departmental goals.
  12. Participate in union meetings and handle related issues.
  13. Promote staff training and development.
  14. Lead daily briefings and meetings.
  15. Supervise quality standards and maintenance of facilities.
  16. Ensure security measures are in place.
  17. Address customer service complaints.
  18. Contribute to business strategy implementation.
  19. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum two years of experience as Hotel Manager or similar, preferably in a city-style premium property.
  • Leadership experience in a Premium/Luxury city hotel preferred.
  • Knowledge of the German market is essential.
  • International experience is a plus.
  • Degree in Tourism or related Hospitality field.
  • Knowledge of hotel department operations.
  • HR management and talent development skills.
  • Proficiency with hotel management IT tools.
  • High geographical flexibility.
  • Ability to reside in Frankfurt.

LANGUAGES:

  • High proficiency in English and German, both verbal and written.
