Melium Consulting is partnering with a global leader in food ingredients and agricultural processing to appoint a Project Engineer for a major manufacturing site in Magdeburg.
This is a hands-on engineering role within a highly automated operation, responsible for delivering capital and plant-improvement projects from concept through to commissioning.
The mandate
- Lead CAPEX projects from concept, design and budgeting through installation and commissioning
- Deliver plant upgrades across process equipment, utilities and manufacturing infrastructure
- Coordinate internal engineering teams, contractors, suppliers and technical partners
- Manage project scope, cost, schedule, safety and technical compliance
- Support process optimisation, reliability and capacity-improvement initiatives
The profile
- Engineering degree in Mechanical, Process, Chemical or a related discipline
- Proven project engineering experience within a complex manufacturing environment
- Strong experience delivering CAPEX projects and managing external contractors
- Background in food, ingredients, chemicals, oils, biofuels or continuous-process manufacturing advantageous
- Professional German and English language capability
