Your mission
You’ll spearhead the creation and growth of a separate, standalone multi-asset music fund designed to acquire and manage world-class music rights and IP. You’ll work directly with the founder to shape deal strategy, source and evaluate acquisition targets (catalogs, publishing rights, emerging talent deals), and help build a high-performing platform for music IP investments. The fund operates with its own structure, strategy, and investor base, and a core element of your role will be leading and supporting the fundraising process: from developing the investment thesis to building and managing investor relationships.
What you\’ll do
- Drive the fundraising process for the new, dedicated fund in close collaboration with the founder and advisors
- Act as a key point of contact for investors, from initial outreach through to ongoing updates and relationship management
- Lead sourcing and execution of music and IP M&A deals, from early diligence through negotiation to close
- Design and structure the core investment thesis and long-term portfolio strategy for the independently structured fund
- Build relationships with artists, managers, publishers, and intermediaries
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and external partners on deal execution
Who you are
- Full Time: 1+ year of experience in fast-paced working environments incl. but not limited to Tier 1 Strategy Consulting, Investment Banking, Private Equity (experience in media, music, or IP a plus)
- Internship: Experience in fast-paced working environments via internships incl. but not limited to Tier 1 Strategy Consulting, Investment Banking, Private Equity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- You are proactive and get things done
- A passion for music and entertainment
