- Assess and review the social care needs of adults with primary mental health needs under the Care Act.
- Create person-centred, strengths-based support plans and undertake capacity assessments under the Mental Capacity Act.
- Complete Social Circumstances Tribunal reports and undertake the role of Social Supervision for conditionally discharged patients.
- Work as a Safeguarding Enquiry Officer, making enquiries, managing risks, and meeting individuals' safeguarding outcomes.
- Participate in the duty system on a rota basis, screening referrals, assessing safeguarding concerns, and responding to queries.
As a Senior Social Worker, you will bring your knowledge of legal frameworks, such as the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Mental Health Act, to make informed decisions for the residents of Ealing. Your ability to demonstrate professional curiosity and work in a strength-based manner is invaluable.
Experience with Court of Protection Schedule 21A challenges will be considered during the recruitment process. While driving is desirable, it is not essential.
