Your role: As the Global Medical TA Head Fertility, you will take the medical lead and together with the medical team, you will be accountable for the overall medical deliveries of the TA. Being a strong people and medical affairs leader, you will manage the Fertility global medical team and report to the Medical Unit Head N&I, Fertility and CM&E.
Medical Strategy:
- Lead the development and execution of Medical Affairs Strategic Plans, ensuring alignment with ethical and compliance standards.
- Serve as the expert advisor for medical and cross-functional stakeholders, providing critical input into regulatory and safety processes.
- Manage the overall medical affairs budget for the TA and co-chair the TA Strategic Committee.
Maintenance Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee all medical activities necessary for the maintenance and expansion of existing marketing authorizations.
- Provide expert medical responses to health authority inquiries and contribute to Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSUR) and Risk Management Plans (RMP).
- Review and support local and regional medical affairs studies and investigator-sponsored trials.
Medical Congress and KTL Activities:
- Build strong scientific relationships with Key Thought Leaders (KTLs) and medical societies.
- Facilitate advisory boards and contribute significantly to scientific events, ensuring the availability of training materials for stakeholders.
Portfolio Extension Activities:
- Lead medical initiatives in therapeutic area evaluations and business development strategies, providing essential input into new product opportunities.
Who You Are:
- You hold a Doctorate in Medicine or an advanced life-science degree, with ideally clinical, research, or pharmaceutical experience in fertility.
- You possess several years of experience and a proven track record in Medical Affairs, with comprehensive knowledge of the therapeutic area\’s product landscape.
- You are a strong leader with the ability to manage diverse international teams, including remote collaboration.
- You excel in analyzing, interpreting, and presenting medical results, and you have a knack for influencing cross-functional groups.
- Your strong communication skills, both oral and written, combined with excellent presentation abilities, set you apart.
- You are organized, with excellent time management skills, and are comfortable with up to 40% travel.
