Your Role
As the Head of Sourcing for LS Packaging for the Region EMEA (all genders), you will be responsible for overseeing Packaging spend across the EMEA region; developing, implementing, and supporting the global sourcing strategy to generate value in financial contribution, supply security, and sustainability. This role encompasses direct spend categories and requires close alignment with Global/Regional Sourcing Managers as you manage complex projects. You will lead the regional team as a line manager, driving the team to the next level while guiding all sourcing activities in collaboration with stakeholders. Your leadership will foster a culture of excellence and transformation, ensuring alignment with sourcing commitments while guiding all sourcing activities. You will engage with stakeholders, drive high-impact initiatives, and contribute to strategic negotiations with suppliers.
Who You Are
- Master\’s degree with over 10 years of relevant Procurement/Sourcing experience, including leading strategic sourcing/category management; prior experience managing a Packaging portfolio is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in the Life Science or Medical Device industries within a global matrix organization.
- Over 5 years of people management experience with a proven track record in coaching and developing team members.
- Strong strategic thinker with exceptional negotiation skills.
- Skilled in building effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and driven to lead transformative change within teams.
- Fluency in English is required, Fluency in German would be an asset.
- Capable of thriving in fast-paced, goal-oriented environments.
- Committed to advancing sustainability initiatives and enhancing organizational efficiency.
