Your role:
As the Head of Finance for Life Science Strategy & Business Development, Technology Office, and Special Projects, and a member of the global Life Science Finance Leadership Team, you will play a crucial role in the long-term success of the company by supporting the Life Science strategy and its transformation journey.
Your team will drive overarching financial projects for the Life Science business, collaborating closely with the Life Science Strategy and Business Development team, as well as the Life Science Technology Office. This includes leading and supporting activities related to M&A and post-merger integrations, as well as strategic initiatives in partnership with the business, Finance, and other headquarters functions.
As a strategist, consultant, and implementer, your team will ensure streamlined operations based on the priorities set by the CFO of Life Science. You will actively seek global opportunities to further grow and develop our business.
Who you are:
- Master’s degree required (MS in Finance or MBA preferred).
- Over 10 years of professional experience, demonstrating exceptional financial analysis skills and a strong background in M&A (with a focus in valuation) and strategic processes.
- Experience in an international environment; transaction services is a plus.
- Proven passion and track record in building and leading high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage various stakeholders, including senior management.
- Strong capability to initiate, lead, and deliver change, with demonstrated effectiveness in a matrix environment and the ability to secure commitment and coordinated action for initiatives.
- Strong project management skills, along with problem-solving and workload prioritization abilities.
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical and/or Life Science industry.
- Proficient in written and oral communication skills in English; German is a plus.
