We are looking for a new colleague (all genders) who will lead one of our pharmaceutical development labs and provide excellence and know-how in conducting innovative formulation and process development for our oral solid dosage forms. Accelerating the time from conceptualization to testing new products in vivo and bringing them to the market is our ultimate goal and will benefit our patients. We develop our new products based on science and the principles of QbD.
We appreciate your deep experience and scientific understanding of granulating, tableting and coating from powder to drug product. Your expertise may be based on successes in traditional batch as well as in continuous manufacturing. And yes, after you developed the products, you will also transfer them to our brand-new pilot plant and manufacture them as clinical trial material under GMP!
You will document your work in scientific reports that will build the base for regulatory documents (IND/IMPD) – you will thereby directly contribute to bringing new medicines to our patients and help closing unmet medical needs around the world! All development activities meet our Best-Scientific-Practice quality management standard, all CTM activities meet GMP standards (EU, FDA, ICH) and address the needs of our development projects.

Who you are:
- Pharmacist with PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology
- Substantial experience in pharmaceutical development (> 4 years) including leadership responsibility
- Sound scientific expertise in pharmaceutical sciences, in particular development of oral solid dosage forms including all aspects of QbD
- Demonstrated ability to manage staff with the ability to lead and influence
- Curiosity about the in-silico development of formulations and processes
- Sophisticated knowledge in processing and analyzing data sets, e.g. via MatLab or MS Excel
- Knowledge in Python or R coding is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and proficient in English and German
