ICT Project Manager – Vienna, Austria The role involves managing telecommunications infrastructure cabling projects, ensuring that client expectations, schedules, costs, quality, and safety are met and that all project activities are completed to the highest standard.
Responsibilities
Fully understand and manage client expectations and specifications of telecommunications infrastructure cabling on the project.
Manage all day‑to‑day site operations including safety and quality.
Manage the project schedule.
Manage all costs associated with the project, including:
Labour
Material and procurement
Plant and equipment
Variations
Valuations
Manage sub‑contractor activities, tracking progress against schedule and staffing levels.
Attend site meetings with the client and internal team.
Develop and implement company procedures with the team.
Ensure change management is handled correctly (cost and programme).
Close out all project items, including final account, O & M manuals, punch list, safety file, QA file, material and plant re‑locations, and project plan, with the support of the project team.
Perform any other duties associated with this role.
Qualifications
3‑5 years of experience working in a similar role.
Extensive experience in telecommunications infrastructure cabling.
Good computer skills – Windows, MS Office.
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well within a team.
Excellent communication skills.
Capability to travel freely between European countries.
Desirable Criteria
Telecoms/ICT industry certification.
