Compliance Manager (m/f/d)

Overview

In this role you help strengthen Merz Therapeutics’ global governance framework by driving compliance and information security initiatives. You advise headquarters and European affiliates on regulatory topics and support risk assessments, trainings, and investigations. You also act as Business Information Security Manager, advancing security governance and regulatory compliance (NIS2). You engage cross-functionally to protect the organization while enabling business impact.

Verantwortungsbereiche

• Develop and enhance the global Compliance Management System
• Advise HQ functions and European affiliates on compliance topics
• Support investigations, risk assessments, trainings, and monitoring
• Create and maintain policies and procedures
• Serve as Business Information Security Manager (BISM) within the Information Security Management System
• Support security governance and regulatory requirements (e.g., NIS2)
• Coordinate with Group Information Security during security incidents
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, HR, IT, and business functions across the organization

Zentrale Anforderungen

• Several years of experience in Compliance, Governance, Risk Management, Audit or related functions within pharma, medtech, healthcare or life sciences
• Strong understanding of compliance requirements in regulated environments
• Pragmatic, hands-on, and solution-oriented
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Interest in digital and information security topics
• Initial experience with information security or related frameworks (NIS2, ISO27001) is a plus
• Fluent in English; German is an advantage
