In this role you will shape Merz Therapeutics' global patient advocacy approach, ensuring patient perspectives influence external engagement, disease awareness, and communications. You will collaborate with Global Communications & Strategic Affairs to build trusted advocacy partnerships, with a focus on Europe, and align efforts with therapeutic priorities. You’ll translate patient insights into initiatives that resonate across affiliates and forums, driving patient-centered partnerships and compliant programs. This position offers the chance to shape patient outcomes at a global scale within a values-driven, family-owned company.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Develop and evolve a global patient advocacy strategy aligned with therapeutic priorities and corporate objectives
- Strengthen integration of patient perspectives into corporate narrative and external communications
- Build and maintain relationships with international and European patient advocacy organizations, including umbrella bodies and national groups
- Represent the company in relevant advocacy forums and stakeholder discussions
- Partner with affiliates to establish compliant advocacy collaborations across markets
- Connect regional initiatives and facilitate exchange of best practices across affiliates
- Contribute to advocacy initiatives, disease awareness campaigns and patient-centered partnerships with Medical Affairs and regional teams
- Act as a key interface across functions, bringing patient insights into the organization and supporting internal awareness
Zentrale Anforderungen
- University degree in communications, public affairs, life sciences or a related field
- Solid experience in patient advocacy, corporate affairs or stakeholder engagement within healthcare or pharmaceutical environment
- Proven experience working with patient organizations and understanding of the advocacy landscape
- Ability to operate in international, cross-functional environments and manage complex stakeholder landscapes
- Ability to translate patient insights into meaningful initiatives and communication approaches
- Experience in rare diseases is a plus
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
