pbBuild the next generation of autonomous construction robotics /b /pbr/pAt MESH, we develop autonomous robotic systems that automate end-to-end rebar construction. Bridging digital design and physical automation, our multidisciplinary team transforms advanced robotics research into robust, production-ready industrial systems deployed globally. /pbr/pbTasks /b /pbr/pbRole description /b /pbr/pWe are looking for a Robotics Software Engineer to develop and productize software across the full robotics stack from perception and motion planning to control and system integration. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys working across subsystem boundaries. You will take ownership of the engineering work required to turn promising research and algorithms into robust and mature capabilities that can be deployed and maintained in real-world robotic systems. /pbr/pWhat You Will Work On /pbr/pYou will contribute across the full robotics software stack, including: /pbr/ulliPerception: 2D/3D sensing, point-cloud processing, object and feature detection, pose estimation, calibration. /liliMotion Planning: collision checking, trajectory generation and optimization, kinematics, robot/world modeling, and integration of planning algorithms. /liliRobot Control: integration with industrial robot controllers, HAL layers, trajectory execution, real-time or near-real-time control interfaces, state monitoring, and coordination of multi-robotic systems. /liliSystem Integration: connecting robotics SW, application logic, hardware, and external systems into reliable end-to-end robotic applications. /liliRobotics Infrastructure: reusable software components, interfaces, configuration, logging, diagnostics, testing, simulation, and deployment infrastructure. /li /ulbr/pYour Responsibilities /pbr/ulliDesign, implement, test, and maintain robotics software primarily in C++ and Python. /liliDevelop and integrate components across the full robotics SW stack. /liliTake algorithms and prototypes and mature them into reliable software components. /liliBuild automated tests, simulation-based tests, hardware-in-the-loop tests, and system-level validation where appropriate. /liliWork with industrial robots, sensors, cameras, external axes, and other automation hardware. /liliDevelop clean interfaces between robotics algorithms, hardware drivers, application software, and higher-level systems. /liliDiagnose complex problems that span software, algorithms, networking, robot controllers, sensors, and hardware. /liliImprove observability through structured logging, diagnostics, error reporting, and system health monitoring. /liliSupport deployment, commissioning, troubleshooting, and validation of robotic systems. /li /ulbr/pbRequirements /b /pbr/pbWhat We Are Looking For /b /pbr/pRequired /pbr/ulliMasters degree or higher in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field. /liliStrong software engineering skills in C++, with working knowledge of Python. /liliExperience developing software for robotic or other complex hardware systems. /liliGood understanding of several areas of robotics, such as, motion and trajectory planning, robot control, vision, sensor and robot calibration. /liliExperience with robotics middleware such as ROS/ROS2 or similar /liliComfortable working with Linux and modern software development workflows using Git, code reviews, build systems, debugging tools, and automated testing. /liliAbility to debug problems across multiple layers of a robotic system rather than treating individual components in isolation. /liliStrong understanding of software architecture, modularity, interfaces, and maintainability. /li /ulbr/pExperience in one or more of the following would be an advantage: /pbr/ulli3D perception using point clouds, depth cameras, stereo systems. /liliLibraries such as Eigen, PCL, OpenCV, or similar. /liliCollision detection, robot/world modeling, trajectory optimization, or numerical optimization. /liliReal-time or high-performance robot communication and control. /liliProfiling, performance optimization, concurrency, and multithreaded C++. /liliDeploying and supporting robotic systems outside a controlled RD environment. /liliCI/CD and automated testing for robotics software. /liliExperience working with industrial robotic arms such as ABB /li /ulbr/pWe do not expect you to be an expert in every part of the robotics stack. We are looking for strong software engineering fundamentals, depth in one or more robotics areas, and the ability and interest to work across subsystem boundaries. /pbr/pbEligibility /b /pbr/pApplicants must be legally authorized to work in Switzerland or be eligible to obtain the required Swiss work authorization without employer-sponsored visa support. /pbr/pbWhy Join MESH? /b /pbr/pAt MESH, you will work on robotics problems where advanced RD meets real-world industrial deployment. Our goal is not only to develop new robotics capabilities, but to turn them into systems that solve challenging problems in real world deployments. /pbr/ulliYou will have opportunities to work across the full robotics SW stack including system integration, and the software architecture connecting them rather than being restricted to a narrow subsystem. /liliYou will work directly on the engineering challenges that take robotics from promising prototypes to robust, repeatable, and deployable solutions. /liliSolve challenging real-world robotics problems. Work with industrial robots, 3D vision systems, complex environments, and applications where conventional automation approaches reach their limits. /liliSee your work operate on real hardware. Develop software that moves beyond simulation and demos and becomes part of robotic systems deployed in real production environments. /liliHave impact across the system. As part of a small, multidisciplinary engineering team, you will work closely across robotics, software, and hardware, with the opportunity to influence both technical decisions and how our robotics platform evolves. /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
