Job Description
The Corporate Security, Safety and Forensics team protects people and assets at METRO, addressing security risks and legal/ regulatory violations. It conducts security assessments, audits, fraud investigations, and develops safety standards. The team is part of the Audit, Asset Protection & Governance division.
Your tasks
- Loss Prevention: Support initiatives to reduce shrinkage, protect company assets, and strengthen operational resilience.
- Incident Management: Oversee and coordinate security incidents, liaise with emergency services and authorities, and maintain the security incident management system.
- Crisis Management: Support and coordinate crisis management, maintain guidelines, design and deliver training, and conduct risk assessments.
- Risk Assessment: Monitor and evaluate evolving threat landscapes, and recommend mitigation measures.
- Security Programs & Compliance: Manage travel security programs for international travelers, coordinate internal security communications, implement corporate security & forensics policies, and perform OSINT background checks.
- Investigations & Event Security: Conduct fraud investigations, interviews, analyze documentation, prepare reports, and support security planning for corporate events and conferences.
Qualifications
- Education: University degree in business informatics, accounting, business management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably at a Big4 audit firm, in investigations, or within the security function of an international company.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS O365 Suite, especially Excel, and ERP systems.
- Languages: Very good English and German, both written and oral.
- Personality: Team player with an accurate, analytical, and open‑minded approach, complemented by a can‑do attitude.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work environments, including occasional business travel.
