Job Title

Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineering Expert

The IAM Engineering Expert designs, implements, and maintains secure digital identity systems, ensuring proper authorization, identity governance, and cybersecurity. The role involves safeguarding sensitive information, enforcing access policies, and supporting organizational security.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and implement robust IAM solutions, including user authorization and directory services.
2. Manage the entire lifecycle of digital identities: provisioning, de-provisioning, and role-based access control.
3. Support the infrastructure team in maintaining the IAM platform.
4. Ensure efficient onboarding/offboarding, data accuracy, and compliance.
5. Implement security controls, monitor activities, and contribute to cybersecurity strategies.
6. Configure and manage access policies and permissions.
7. Apply security protocols, encryption, and industry standards related to IAM.
8. Troubleshoot IAM issues with strong analytical skills.
9. Investigate incidents, analyze access patterns, and implement corrective actions.
10. Communicate IAM policies effectively with team members and stakeholders.
11. Collaborate across IT, security, and business units to meet IAM requirements.
12. Adapt strategies based on technological and organizational changes.
13. Implement IAM solutions compliant with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT, or information security, with a focus on IAM.
• Experience in wholesale/retail industry is desirable.
• Deep knowledge of access controls, authorization mechanisms, and IAM management tools.
• Proficiency with Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Identity Governance, and Directory Services (LDAP, Active Directory).
• Experience with identity lifecycle management, including provisioning and deprovisioning.
