Job Description

1. Support local and corporate QA teams as the primary contact for QA matters across Supply Chain, Marketplace, FSD operations, and 1-2 FSD companies.
2. Assist with standard implementation, provide technical manuals, educational materials, training, and support the development of IT tools for QA requirements.
3. Maintain a global system ensuring compliance with QA standards across METRO/MAKRO countries and external Logistic Service Providers.
4. Conduct warehouse assessments in various countries.
5. Oversee incident and crisis cases for FSD companies, providing technical assessments and guidance.
6. Onboard FSD Quality Managers and serve as a point of contact within the QA community.
7. Review KPIs to ensure continuous improvement.
8. Support FSD companies in obtaining GQA approval for our Own Brand meat production.

Qualifications

1. Robust expertise and passion for Quality Assurance and Food Wholesale.
2. Minimum of three years’ experience in QA operations, including HACCP, PRP, and implementing QMS.
3. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across diverse backgrounds.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to connect dots quickly.
5. Understanding of QA requirements in the multichannel food industry, including supply chains and safety standards.
6. Experience working with QA manuals and applying standards to real-world processes.
7. Technical food knowledge, ideally from a food quality or safety background.
8. Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.
