Aufgaben
As a Working Student in Data Science, you will play a vital role in improving our existing machine learning pipelines and exploring new solutions to support important business units. You\’ll be part of the Data Science team, focusing on optimizing our sales forecast pipeline through hyperparameter tuning, pipeline optimization, and implementing advanced machine learning techniques. Additionally, you\’ll interact with other teams to design and develop new data-driven solutions that address key business challenges. You\’ll work closely with experienced data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders in an agile, cross-functional environment to deliver impactful projects. Your contributions will directly influence decision-making and ensure the scalability and efficiency of our solutions.
Your Responsibilities:
• Optimize existing machine learning pipelines for sales forecasting, focusing on hyperparameter tuning and pipeline efficiency.
• Support with developing and implementing new machine learning solutions for specific business needs.
• Setup simple frontends to share results
• Analyze and model data from diverse sources to create actionable insights and predictions.
• Interact with the data engineering team to integrate machine learning models into data products.
• Ensure code and model quality through testing, validation, and documentation.
Profil
• You have skills in Python, SQL and machine learning libraries (e.g., XGBoost, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) as well as Git
• First experience or knowledge in hyperparameter tuning would be a plus!
• A passion for bringing business, data and coding knowledge together to create value
• Proactive, motivated, and detail-oriented mindset with a drive to learn and grow.
