At our global operational headquarters in Nänikon-Greifensee, we are looking for a driven individual to join our Software Architecture Team as Team Lead Software Architecture 100% (f/m/d). /ppIn this role, you will lead a team of around seven software architects, combining people leadership with strong technical architecture expertise. You will shape the architecture of our laboratory balances across product boundaries and drive modularization and harmonization forward. /ppIn the early project phase, you will have the opportunity to make a visible impact: you will identify potential early, develop viable solution concepts, use prototypes in a targeted way, and create the basis for well-informed decisions. Your experience with modular, reusable architectures and platforms is highly valuable, as is your deep understanding of the interaction between in‑house developed hardware and software. /ppBy combining leadership strength, technical depth, and strategic thinking, you will help shape the technological future of our laboratory balances. /ph3In this role, you will be responsible for: /h3ulliProviding technical and managerial leadership for around seven software architects. /liliAligning architects across product lines and early project phases, and coordinating closely with project management and product management. /liliFacilitating architecture decisions, integrating different perspectives, and making decisions yourself when required. /liliEnsuring consistent standards, reviews, and traceable architecture decisions within the team. /liliFurther developing the cross‑product target architecture and actively driving modularization and harmonization. /liliSetting technical guardrails and considering maintainability, robustness, performance, OIML requirements, and cybersecurity from the outset. /liliIdentifying architecture topics early, developing solution options, and preparing sound decision proposals. /liliEnsuring that our devices can be integrated into PC software and customer systems, and harmonizing interfaces, protocols, and data models. /liliIncorporating requirements for data integrity and cybersecurity into the architecture and acting as a technical advisor to management. /li /ulh3What You Need to Succeed /h3ulliA degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a comparable field. /liliSeveral years of experience as a software or systems architect for complex products. /liliLeadership experience with a team of similar size, ideally including disciplinary leadership. /liliExperience with modular, reusable architectures and platforms, as well as interfaces and the integration of devices into PC and data systems. /liliExperience in software development on in‑house developed hardware, as well as Linux on devices (Debian), is a strong advantage. /liliTechnology‑independent architectural thinking, ideally with knowledge of C/C++ and C#. /liliExperience in regulated environments, including data integrity/GxP and cybersecurity in a product context (CRA, IEC 62443), is desirable. /liliA proactive, conceptually strong personality with clear communication and a proven ability to drive sound decisions even in ambiguous situations. /liliVery good English skills; German skills are a major advantage. /li /ulh3Our Offer to You /h3ulliFlexible working hours (depending on the role), a hybrid work model, and a wide portfolio of training opportunities /liliA 40‑hour work week with at least 25 vacation days per year, plus 4 to 7 additional days off between bank holidays /liliFree parking and direct access to public transport /liliEmployees in Urdorf can purchase monthly lunch checks and enjoy healthy meals at a reduced price, either externally or in our cafeteria /liliA range of additional attractive benefits, including employee discounts at select area businesses /li /ulpYou can expect challenging, interesting, and varied tasks in an innovative and international environment, with the opportunity to network globally and achieve your career goals. /ppPlease note that we do not accept any application documents via e‑mail, only applications submitted on our job platform due to our data protection guidelines.
