Your daily business
You will get to know the hotel business with us. During the course of your studies, you will work in all relevant areas. These include:
- Front office/reception
- Checking guests in and out
- Cash register booking
- Reservations
- Guest communication on hotel booking portals
- Breakfast area/F&B
- Guest service
- Preparation of breakfast and breakfast buffet
- Housekeeping
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the entire hotel (public areas and guest rooms)
- House Technic
- Familiarization with the technical requirements and functions
- Sales/marketing/revenue management
- Knowledge of the hotel brand and marketing of the hotel
- Calculation of hotel rates
- Human resources/finance
- Recruitment of employees
- Creation of duty rosters
- Preparation of training plans
- Invoicing, posting invoices
You will get to know areas that we do not offer in Hamburg (Food & Beverage/Restaurant) in our hotels in Frankfurt or Munich. For the areas of Human Resources and Finance/Controlling, you will join us at our Head Office in Berlin.
