R&D Senior Software Engineer (Based in Korea)

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop machine software & sequence for high speed automated machines.
2. Develop machine motion profile and control for high speed movement modules.
3. Provide application integration test and documentation.
4. Provide assistance and machine software & hardware support to customers as well as evaluation to find solutions on customer modification requests.
5. Analyze and implement customer requirements.
6. Responsible for software development process definition and hardware qualification.
7. Plan and manage technical projects or tasks to meet expectations on quality and timeliness.
8. Work as a team to evaluate the interface between hardware and software as well as the operational and performance requirements of the overall system.
9. Perform proper engineering documentation, SOP and guidelines.
10. Undertake other duties and responsibilities, which may be assigned by the Company from time to time with on-time full closure.

Job Requirements:

1. Degree in Engineering or Science in Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics/Computer with second upper class or above.
2. Strong in software programming and electronics/electrical design.
3. Well versed in Visual C++, Visual C# programming languages.
4. Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) is an added advantage.
5. Good semiconductor process knowledge is an added advantage.
6. Good working relationship and positive work attitude, self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
7. Innovative, creative, and hardworking.
8. Strong technical leadership, analytical & problem-solving skills.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
10. Positive thinking and willing to provide extended support to customers.
11. Enjoy learning new things and willing to accept new challenges.
12. Good project management skills.
13. At least 3 – 5 years working experience in a related field.
