Job Title: Social Media Intern

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns.
2. Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote company brands on various social media websites.
3. Create and distribute content such as blogs, infographics, videos, and press releases on social media.
4. Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability.
5. Respond to comments and Direct Messages (DM) on social media platforms.
6. Brainstorm and research ideas for original content.
7. Create compelling graphics to share across social channels.
8. Write social media captions that speak to the company’s target audience.
9. Help create and edit short-form videos.
10. Develop new strategies for increasing engagement.
11. Assist with photo or video content shoots.
12. Assist with administrative activities in event planning, management, and execution.
13. Undertake other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Company.

Job Requirements:

1. Candidate is currently pursuing at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Art, Mass Communication, Multimedia, Business Administration, Marketing, or other related fields.
2. Duration of internship for a minimum period of 6 months is preferable.
3. Excellent interpersonal skills and good visual communication skills.
4. Knowledge of visual design principles and animation.
5. Exceptional editing skills.
6. Photography and videography editing skills.
7. Computer literate and proficient in video/photo shooting and video editing.
8. Clear copywriting skills.
9. Excellent script-writing skills in Chinese and English.
10. Must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang.

Job Type: Internship

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM 00 – RM1,000.00 per month
