In this role, you will design and develop modern data pipelines, data platforms, and analytical solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. More about Miba Your common path with Miba smart bewerben What you can expect * Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data-processing solutions * Develop and optimize data architectures for batch and real-time processing * Integrate data from various sources * Ensure data quality, security, governance, and compliance * Improve the performance, reliability, and transparency of data platforms * Collaborate with IT product teams, data analysts, and business departments * Establish and promote best practices in data engineering, testing, documentation, and version control * Evaluate new technologies and help shape the future data platform What makes you special * Several years of professional experience in data engineering or a related field * Strong programming skills in Python or PySpark * Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines * Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases * Practical experience with data warehouses, data lakes, or lakehouse architectures * Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure * Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or similar is an advantage * Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, automated testing * Understanding of data modeling, data governance, and data security * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an international team * Fluent in German and English At Miba, we believe that diversity generates and drives innovation.
