In this versatile role, you bring your skills and creativity to our kitchen every day. With a variety of cold and hot dishes, you make our staff restaurant a place of enjoyment, quality, and good catering. You can expect a professional environment with responsibility and development opportunities.
Important notes: Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 04:00 to 14:30 - Saturday and Sunday off.
What you achieve
- You prepare a variety of cold and hot dishes daily for our staff restaurant and ensure enjoyable break moments. - You actively contribute to menu planning and create new culinary delights that bring variety to the plate. - You check goods and leftover quantities, handle goods receipt and storage, and help reduce food waste through optimal processes. - You are responsible for orders, goods acceptance, and inventory management, ensuring all required items are available on time. - You consistently implement HACCP guidelines, carry out cleaning tasks according to schedule, and make a valuable contribution to the training of our apprentices in the kitchen.
What you bring
- Education: Completed vocational training (EFZ) - Specialisation: as a cook or equivalent training. - Professional experience: You have several years of professional experience in a similar position in the catering industry or ideally bring experience from a large kitchen. - You are familiar with HACCP and hygiene regulations and work in a structured, clean, and reliable manner. - You have extensive knowledge of healthy and balanced nutrition and value quality and careful preparation. - You impress with a high level of service and customer orientation, a strong quality awareness, and a friendly, open personality. - You enjoy working in a team, gladly pass on your knowledge to apprentices, and approach changes openly and positively. - You have good SAP and PC skills and have completed a trainer course. - German (C1) - French (ADVANTAGEOUS) - English (ADVANTAGEOUS)
