About Our Client

Job Description

  • Draft, review, and advise on a variety of legal documents, including NDAs, contracts, MoUs, and terms and conditions.
  • Assist with demurrage disputes, payment demand letters, and external legal matters, including litigation and liaising with external counsel.
  • Manage compliance and KYC documentation, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Provide legal advice on new projects, employment contracts, and ad hoc matters as required.
  • Collaborate closely with trading teams to provide proactive legal support and manage legal risk effectively.

The Successful Applicant

  • Possesses a qualification in English law or another common law jurisdiction, with a minimum of a Master’s degree.
  • Strong knowledge of common law principles is highly advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge and interest in contract management, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) with at least B2-level proficiency in French.
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Experienced in working with external counsel and managing diverse legal documentation.
  • Highly motivated, dedicated, and eager to play a key role in the development of the legal department.
  • Ideally available to commence employment immediately.
