Overview
In this role you drive strategic sourcing and category management within a complex, project-based engineering environment. You will lead category strategy, supplier lifecycle, and performance improvement to align with program needs and corporate objectives. You collaborate closely with Engineering and Production to secure cost-efficient, supply-secure solutions. The position offers exposure to high-value projects and a chance to influence procurement across MRO, RMU, and Completions domains.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Define and execute category strategies and governance
- Act as primary procurement lead for MRO, RMU, and Completions projects
- Oversee supplier selection, contracting and performance; prepare TCO/ROI analyses
- Drive category performance aligning with cost, quality, and delivery goals
- Perform market and supplier analysis to inform sourcing decisions
- Collaborate with Engineering and Production to optimize specifications
- Implement supplier performance improvements and monitor KPIs
- Develop contingency sourcing plans and manage supplier relationships
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 5+ years in procurement/category management in manufacturing or engineering
- Strong technical understanding with commercial acumen and contract management experience
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and procurement tools
- Fluent in English; German or French is an asset
- Ability to manage multiple high-value projects in a fast-paced environment
- Direct exposure to MRO, RMU, or Completions projects in aviation or aerospace is highly valued
- Familiarity with Lean Management
- Additional certifications (CIPS, Lean Six Sigma) advantageous
