Overview
In this role you assess creditworthiness of corporate counterparties, analyze financial data, and prepare concise credit recommendations to support approval decisions. You will monitor exposures, ensure proper collateral documentation, and support governance and reporting processes within a dynamic, international trade finance setting. This position offers exposure to cross-functional teams and meaningful risk management impact in a growing portfolio.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Review credit applications and assess counterparty creditworthiness
- Perform financial analysis using audited and management accounts to identify risk indicators
- Prepare credit memoranda and recommendations for approval committees
- Present risk findings to decision-making bodies
- Monitor compliance with approved credit terms and conditions
- Ensure adequacy and enforceability of collateral and security arrangements
- Track portfolio exposures, performance, and credit ratings, escalating concerns as needed
- Manage annual reviews, renewals, and ongoing monitoring of existing facilities
- Maintain accurate credit records and documentation for internal/external reviews
- Support governance, committee reporting, and ad hoc credit projects
- Interact with clients and management on credit matters
- Participate in day-to-day office operations
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 3–7 years of proven experience in credit analysis, credit risk management, or related field
- Experience in credit trade finance mandatory
- Strong financial statement analysis and risk assessment skills
- Solid understanding of lending structures, collateral arrangements, and credit documentation
- Ability to prepare concise and well-supported credit recommendations for senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and sound judgment
- Effective communication and presentation skills for committees and stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Professional proficiency in English and French; additional languages advantageous
