Overview
In this role you design, build, and operate the analytics layer of the organisation’s enterprise data platform on OCI. You transform operational data into trusted analytical datasets and self-service dashboards, enabling data‑driven decisions. You contribute to business data modelling, KPI definitions, and reporting that creates a single source of truth. You collaborate with IT and business teams to deliver governed, AI‑ready analytics assets aligned with the data strategy. This is a hands‑on, cross‑functional role focused on scalable, quality analytics delivery.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Design and maintain the analytics architecture of the enterprise data platform
- Structure analytical datasets in Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW)
- Build semantic data models to support dashboards and reporting tools
- Define core business entities and relationships; align KPI definitions
- Design and deliver dashboards using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Power BI
- Enable self‑service reporting with shared datasets and BI templates
- Implement data quality, governance, and metadata/documentation (glossary, catalog)
- Collaborate with IT to integrate data from multiple systems using OCI Data Integration and Oracle Data Transform
- Develop reusable data assets and APIs via the organisation’s API gateway
- Prepare structured, governed datasets for AI initiatives and collaborate with data science teams
- Monitor analytics workloads and optimise performance with OCI observability tools
- Provide training and support for analytics tools
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 10+ years in data analytics, BI, or analytics engineering
- 5+ years with Oracle technologies (PL/SQL, SQL, architecture, tuning)
- strong experience with enterprise analytics platform implementations
- cloud-based data platforms experience
- advanced skills in designing semantic models for BI
- strong data visualization and dashboard design
- hands‑on experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)
- experience with OCI Data Integration
- experience implementing data catalogs or data governance frameworks
- exposure to AI/ML data preparation
