IT Test Governance Leader in Genève

Overview

In this senior role, you will define and evolve the quality governance model for a large, international technology organization. You will align senior stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor on quality priorities, driving enterprise-wide testing standards and governance. You’ll lead governance forums, establish meaningful metrics, and guide tooling and practice evolution to raise consistency across regions. This is a visibility-rich opportunity to shape testing maturity and quality strategy at scale, working with cross-functional leadership.

• Define and communicate long-term quality assurance and testing governance vision
• Build alignment among senior stakeholders (VPs, product leaders, executives)
• Advise technology leadership on quality risks, priorities, and initiatives
• Drive adoption of testing standards and enterprise-wide quality practices
• Lead governance forums and influence senior management decisions
• Establish quality metrics and ensure consistent reporting across teams
• Support evolution of testing methodologies, tooling, and best practices
• Create consistency across regional delivery teams and technology domains
• Support onboarding, change management for quality governance
• Coach and mentor Test Managers, QA Leads, and governance contributors
• Provide direction on quality strategy with technical credibility to challenge teams
• Collaborate to consolidate governance practices and shape the next testing maturity roadmap

Zentrale Anforderungen

• 15+ years in software testing, QA, or quality governance
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders in large tech organisations
• Ability to operate at executive level and engage CIO-level stakeholders
• Strong leadership to drive change through influence
• Deep understanding of testing strategies, quality frameworks, governance models
• Hands-on testing/QA experience with technical credibility
• Knowledge of modern testing technologies, automation approaches, and software delivery practices
• Experience building standards, governance frameworks, and quality operating models across multiple teams
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills
• Experience in multicultural and distributed environments
• Ability to federate teams and build consensus across stakeholders
• Strategic yet delivery-focused mindset
• Experience with ITIL, governance frameworks or enterprise operating models is advantageous
