Senior Credit Officer FR / ENG 100% (m / f) in Genève

Overview

In this role you will manage the credit underwriting for Lombard lending, structuring limits and monitoring collateral for complex deals. You will support Front Office with credit expertise, drive risk-informed decisions, and collaborate with Credit Committee, Traders, and Asset Management. You’ll develop reporting metrics and dashboards to track performance, while actively contributing to process improvements in a dynamic international private bank environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche

• Manage the credit underwriting process with Front Office collaboration
• Structure and present credit limits for approvals
• Monitor LTV and margin requirements for derivative operations
• Oversee high-risk exposures and collateral analysis
• Handle daily credit operations, data maintenance, reconciliations, and documentation
• Provide credit expertise to Front Office including structuring and exception management
• Collaborate with Credit Committee, Traders, and Asset Management
• Validate loan drawdowns, cash transfers and securities transfers
• Support team with risk culture and process improvements
• Develop management statistics, KPIs, and dashboards for internal reporting
• Report to Management and participate in day-to-day office activities

Zentrale Anforderungen

• ≥5 years’ experience in managing and monitoring complex Lombard lending
• Fluent in French and English (spoken and written)
• Solid experience with derivatives and complex OTC transactions
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment products, credit risks, and banking services
• Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
